Whether you are a gap year newbie, a veteran gapper or a parent who is helping a student plan a gap year, we want to hear from you!

Share your experiences on planetgapyear.com and inspire others to plan their very own gap year.

Here's how:

  • Email us photos. Please limit the number to 3 and ensure they are under 2Mb in size.
  • Email us a link to your video clips e.g. a link to a video on any video sharing website like YouTube or Blip.tv. The clip should be 1 to 2 minutes long and could have you explain how you planned your gap year,paid for it, and how it helped you to succeed in college or career.
  • Submit an article that inspires others to take a gap year. Remember, you want to get other students excited about the possibilities of a year out! The article should be 1 to 1 1/2 pages long and emailed as an attachment in MS word doc or in plain text format. Include your name, gender, and location. This info will accompany the article in order to help readers evaluate the usefulness of the article as it relates to their own goals. Please do a spell check before emailing.
